I'm Matti Karppa, a 32-year-old software engineer from Kivenlahti, Espoo. In addition to me, my family consists of my wife Tuovi, a 4-year-old son, a Welsh springer spaniel, two Norwegian forest cats, and a mini lop rabbit.

I'm almost finished with my PhD at Aalto University; for the past four years I've worked on algorithms, including similarity search and Boolean matrix multiplication. Presently, I'm employed as a consultant at Vincit.
